Christmas Season Again!!

Yahoo!! It is Christmas Season again. It is hard to believe but I was persuaded to wait until December to put up a tree. We have picked it out and right now it is in the garage, melting.... We had a lot of snow and then a lot of rain this weekend. The nutcrackers are out and the lights are on outside. The boys are counting down on their advent calendars. Santa is coming!!

I told Aaron that I would tone it down a bit this year, but honestly, he was a fool to believe that I can. I haven't started baking at all, and I may not this year (how's that for toning it down? Not really, I don't bake much). Anna has already made at least 6 loaves of povitica, a batch of caramels, and a batch of peanut butter balls. She may have done glory knots as well, I don't know. She gets carried away!

This weekend was a wonderful snowy weekend. It was perfect snow for a snowman and there was one that was taller than the boys in the front yard. As well as a fort that was made from the chunks of snow the plow shoves in the yard. Perfect for the kids to hide behind during the snowball fight. Then... it warmed up and now we are getting a lot of rain. So much that the foot of snow that we had is already all gone. In less than a day. Sigh.... I miss snowy winters.

I hope that everyone is having a super Christmas season this year. I think this is the first time that Aaron will be home almost all month long. The boys are enjoying having him home more often so this is going to be fun season for them especially. Lots of busy holiday stuff going on this month.

Merry Christmas!!!!
