Nathan has lost those teeth now! He has a cute little lisp, but he can still whistle.
The bottom two were pulled out by his father, but he wouldn't let anyone wiggle the top ones. He said that it hurt to wiggle those ones. I think he didn't like the sensation, but I don't think it was painful. Anyway, he was drinking juice from a straw and one just fell out. He was so surprised. He ran in holding the tooth with a look of shock on his face. So the tooth fairy came on Friday night. Then, Saturday morning he was eating a Popsicle (to combat a fever) and was chewing on the stick and somehow he popped his other one out. That was even more of a shock. To everyone. So I had to post a picture of his smile. He is pretty proud of it.

We have all been battling a terrible cold. Actually, Aaron is the only one who hasn't got it. That is good, because I think it would be terrible to have to fly, feeling the way the rest of us do...
Nathan stayed home from school for 2 days because he had a terrible fever. He wouldn't get up to play, he didn't eat much. I had to coax him to eat Popsicles! Xander didn't have the stuffy nose that Nathan had, but dealt with the fever and some headaches. I got it all, the fever, the headaches, and the stuffy nose. I stayed home with them on Friday and no one did anything... It is Sunday night now and we are all feeling loads better. Though Xander did put himself to bed at 7:00.
We are starting to think about our summer vacation. We are planning to be in the South again this year. Aaron's mother lives in Georgia and we haven't been to visit in a while. At this time it looks like we will be renting a beach house in North Carolina. The reservations have been made. Aaron's brother and his family will be joining us from Germany. Our family is thinking of flying into Atlanta, rather than Charlotte, and driving up to meet everyone else. It all depends on Aaron's schedule, but I think we will be going a few days early so that we might be able to see some Aunties! Aaron's schedule is spotty but I am pushing for that! The time frame looks like we will be in Atlanta the weekend of the 13th of June and then again the next weekend. Obviously, I'll let you know more details as I know them. We did the beach house on Xander's first birthday and that was so much fun we decided that we should do it again. This time Xander is old enough to enjoy it more. And Ben and Katja now have a little one of their own. Savannah will be about 7 months old when we meet her for the first time at the beach. We are so looking forward to this trip.
So other than lost teeth and illness there isn't much happening here. I am sure no one is really interested in that boring stuff anyway. So here is hoping everyone reading this is well!
