Goofy boys

I didn't have anything special to blog this week. So I just put up a few pictures of the boys. They are growing up so fast, I guess it is good to get a random photo once in a while.
Nathan lost another tooth this week. He really, really, wanted to pull it himself and tried very hard to do it. In the end though, his daddy pulled it. Nathan didn't even know it had happened.... The tooth fairy came, just the same.
Xander got into trouble at school this week. He was throwing snow with his friend. The school has a VERY strict policy regarding throwing things on the playground. No picking up anything, rocks, pinecones,, snow, gravel, grass, etc. The principal called Aaron and he chewed her out for not "reminding" the kids of the rules. They haven't played on the playground in weeks, due to the amount of snow there was out there. It would be an easy thing to forget. After all, throwing snow is FUN! He didn't get sent home. He was lucky this time. I don't think he'll be picking anything up from the playground for a while though.
Nathan came home from school yesterday and informed me that he'd had a fight on the playground. He wasn't caught by an adult this time.... Nathan and Dante were playing a game and Braden started to tackle Dante over and over again. Nathan pulled him off his friend. Then Braden started to tackle Nathan. Which turned into a shoving match. This is the 2nd time I have heard of Nathan fighting on the playground. The first time, the pricipal called me and told me that he had hit a girl! He told me about this one on his own... He was a little bothered by it. He doesn't like it when everyone isn't getting along... My kinda kid. Today Braden is his friend again. : ) Aaron was hoping that Nathan had a chance to use some of his Aikido. But I think he was mostly taken aback by someone attacking him!
This weekend we are off to go skiing. Nathan and Xander will take a lesson so Aaron can ski and I will sit in the lodge and drink toddy's! Can't wait!! We are staying at the lodge over night, and then will go swimming in the new water park. I am simply looking forward to a weekend away from thinking of work! I have my fingers crossed that I can finish up a report tomorrow. Then I'll be able to relax a bit before I wrestle the next one!

Quilt Therapy

Check out the quilts on the Quilt Therapy page. This is a project our quilt group has been working on for the last few months. Each person chose a fat quarter. Then we passed them around the group. You had to cut the fabric and add to it. We passed them around 4 times, so 4 different people worked on each one. No one was allowed to see their own fractured fat quarter until tonight.

Mine is the best one!!
