Where does the time go??? It will be June in only a few days. What happened to April and May?
I feel like the busiest person ever, but I honestly can't tell you where my time seems to go. I'm certainly not accomplishing anything.....
Well, since the last time I posted a few things have changed... Aaron got a phone call with a job offer. He is now flying a Lear Jet based out of Coeur d' Alene! Just what he wanted. He really likes the people he works for and the other pilot he flies with. It is nice to see him excited to go to work again! He is still teaching a few lessons as well and the two things are keeping him busy.
That is the most major event that effects our world. But not the most exciting to me! My Australian family found me on Facebook (I think I blogged that). We have been talking online a lot since we have been back in touch. Lorna and Wally, my host parents, bought tickets and are coming for a visit! It seems to have happened so fast. It has been 18 years since I last saw them and now in less than 5 days I'll have them here! They will be here for 2 weeks (they are leaving their winter to come in our summer). I am the only person in my family to have ever met them! They have talked to my parents on the phone in the past, and they have seen Aaron and the boys on the web-cam. I am soooo excited. We have plans to find snow (Lorna hasn't seen snow), take a cruise on the lake, and maybe do some quilting. I am simply looking forward to catching up.
I am working, slowly, on getting The Ties That Bind retyped. It would go very quickly if I would just devote a little more time to it. But I am not in too big of a hurry, since I have VERY FEW new recipes to add! Please make sure everyone in the family submits at least one recipe. There are people in this family who weren't 20 years ago when Mom did the original version! ALL the cousins, kids, parents, aunts, uncles, etc. should participate... Please get the word out! I look forward to adding them all. Thanks to those who have already sent some.
